For over a decade, Michael worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at the intersection of public health policy and infectious disease. Michael has briefed many notable US government officials, including the US Surgeon General, the CDC Director, and several elected members of the US Congress and state legislatures on pressing public health issues including HIV, Ebola, Zika virus, and COVID-19. Before leaving CDC, Michael was the chief architect behind a multi-million dollar strategy to advance policy as a public health intervention so we can better answer the question of 'How do law and policy affect health outcomes?' Michael continues some of this work as an independent contractor today.

So, is he a stranger to high pressure and even higher stakes? Nah.

Michael became a real estate agent for one primary reason: to offer a more transparent, fact-based transaction to all his clients at any price point. After a rough go at homeownership in 2020, Michael turned that hard life lesson into action and advocacy for his clients and has closed millions of dollars in deals since. Additionally, Michael is a Certified Real Estate Negotiator.

A Kalamazoo, Michigan, native now settled in East Atlanta, Michael enjoys the grueling pain of running marathons because hand-eye coordination sports are too hard. If not running, you can find Michael watching the Atlanta Braves! Chop on!
